Selling your EE System

Due to life and or business circumstances,  EE System owners sometimes need to sell their existing systems. This may be  more difficult than imagined. There are several hurdles:

Finding a qualified buyer

EE System places contractual limits on using the systems for commercial purposes.  They are encouraging new center owners to buy new systems rather than from the secondary market. While new system buyers are out, there are two situations that can work:

  • Adding or upgrading an existing commercial system ( moving from 12 to 24 unit configuration)
  • Home, residential or personal use

Encen maintains a database of over 350 system owners and locations. We can provide this email list to you for $500.

Delivery to buyer

Due to the sale size, delivery can be an issue.  The buyer will want to know that the system they receive is in good working order.  The system may be in good working order leaving the current owner location … but not upon arrival. The seller will want to ensure they receive payment for something that costs as much or more than a luxury automobile.  Possible solutions include:

  • Personally driving and delivering system via U-Haul or similar truck rental
  • Insuring the shipment

Logistical considerations may limit your target geography.

Payment

Both buyers and sellers will want to make sure that expectations are met before finalizing the transaction.  Due to the size of the transaction the following are ways to mitigate risk:

  • Cashier’s checks or money orders for payment;
  • Engaging an online escrow service (www.escrow.com)

There are several ways encen Alliance can help:

  • Sell you an email list of over 300 centers ($500)
  • Help you to do an emailer to existing centers ( est. $200 per mailer)
  • Facilitate brokering the system ( 10% finders fee)
